Design and Planning:
Develop detailed electrical designs and schematics for the factory, including power distribution, lighting, communication, and control systems.
Create and review electrical plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Project Management:
Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into the overall construction plan.
Manage electrical project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and inspection records.
Installation and Supervision:
Oversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
Conduct site inspections and tests to verify the quality and functionality of electrical installations.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies encountered during installation.
Procurement and Vendor Management:
Identify and source electrical materials and equipment required for the project.
Evaluate and manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and vendors.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective procurement of high-quality materials.
Compliance and Safety:
Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Stay updated on advancements in electrical engineering and construction technologies.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with the project team, clients, and regulatory authorities to ensure project alignment and regulatory compliance.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
