Objective

We are looking for an experienced shipping professional with over 10 years of experience to provide expert guidance on risk management to prevent unnecessary costs and operational risks in shipping operations. Apply now, your time to shine has come!

Qualifications: 
 
1. Minimum 10 years of experience in shipping operations within marine logistics (specifically in oil and gas). Experience in multinational companies is a must.

2. Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Naval Engineering, Marine Technology, or a graduate from a maritime institute (e.g., STIP).
 
3. Preferred certifications: Nautical (ANT2) or Technical (ATT2).
 
4. Holds a valid HSSE certification (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment).
 
Responsibilities: 
 
1. Risk Management & Cost Prevention
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks in shipping operations to avoid unnecessary costs related to fuel, maintenance, and other operational inefficiencies.
     
  • Ensure all shipping processes comply with maritime regulations and minimize risks during the voyage, loading, and discharge phase.

2. Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate, analyze, and implement the preparation of transportation plans for vessels, including Loading/Discharge Instructions and Instructions for Ballast and Laden Voyage, ensuring all required documents are complete and compliant.
     
  • Oversee the review process and calculation of shipping operations expenses, covering fuel-bunker, ship maintenance, and dry-docking, ensuring expenses align with the approved budget.
     
  • Monitor and analyze fuel bunker consumption, ship maintenance schedules, dry-docking, and operational activities to ensure processes are completed efficiently and in line with established procedures.
     
  • Consolidate reports on any issues during loading, sailing, and discharging, ensuring timely communication with all relevant stakeholders.
     
  • Lead and participate in ship-to-shore compatibility studies for buyers’ terminals, ensuring all conditions are incorporated for safe and efficient operations.

3. Regulatory Compliance

  • Collaborate with government authorities (Port Authority/Syahbandar, Custom, KPLP, Hubla, AL, POLAIR) to ensure smooth operations and compliance with maritime regulations.
     
  • Oversee shipping from origin to destination, ensuring all logistical risks are managed and avoided.
