The Frankfurt office of a well-known international bank is looking to hire Transaction Banking - Bank Guarantee Associate and also Vice President.

Candidates must have French language skills at the business level in addition to English.

Job Purpose

The candidate will be working in the Trade Finance team in the Frankfurt office on Bank Guarantee transactions with corporate clients in continental Europe.

Therefore, the candidate must have a good working knowledge of URDG758, ISP98 and UCC600.

Main Responsibilities:

• To process Letter of Guarantees:

• Special Text Guarantees

• To improve Bank Guarantee operations /processes

• Periodical coordination and execution of invoicing, fee calculation and reconciliation.

• To collaborate with internal parties to proactively propose a marketing strategy in line with the RM departments’ business strategy / focus

Knowledge & Skills (minimum required levels)

• Professional Banker, especially at least 3 year experience in the Bank Guarantee business field (Extensive experience in origination, structuring, documentation and arrangement of Bank Guarantee transactions through to the deal closing)

• Experience and knowledge with legal texts in German law (must) (preferably English Law, French law)

• Candidates must have German language skills at the business level as well as English.
