【 Job Description 】

This is a lead engineer position directly under the CTO to promote software development as the "core of the team" for the future functional expansion of DX services for nursing care facilities and the diversification of the customers to which the services will be introduced.
You will be required to take a bird's eye view of the entire project and lead the team technically from the upstream design of the software and architecture design.

【Responsibilities】
Driving the design and development of DX services for nursing homes
・Development
 └ Development of OwlCare, a DX solution for nursing care
 └ Development of other products we are working on
・Upstream Design
 └ Business Process Design
 └ Architecture design
 Web and IoT application design
・Project Management
 └ Development roadmap formulation
 └ Project promotion in collaboration with software, hardware, and infrastructure leaders
・Technical research to improve the Developer Experience, such as building and improving the development and operation environment,
 Verification, selection, and awareness-raising activities

【About the Nursing Care DX Service】
《Integration of Sensors and Nurse Calls Reduces Workload of Nursing Staff》
This service integrates various types of monitoring sensors and nurse call systems that have been provided separately.
By utilizing AI, such as behavior detection, this service provides nursing staff with optimal information and interactive communication with residents. The service received an award of excellence at the Age Tech 2021 Awards.

In light of the further shift to nursing homes and home medical care after 2025, the company is also considering the development of a function to monitor home care in the future and the use of data for preventive medicine by accumulating nursing care data.

【Challenges and expectations of the current engineering organization】
They would especially like to focus on proper development schedule management for releases, improvement activities to increase productivity, and document management. The current CTO is performing the above tasks while concurrently serving in multiple roles, so they are looking for an increase in staff.

Required Skills

■Any one of the above is required, more than one is preferred
・Experience as a leader in system development (regardless of the number of members)
・Experience in TypeScript, React.
・Experience in Web-based business system development (regardless of type and duration) and understanding of the following technical environment

■Framework:Meteor
■Frontend:TypeScript, React
■Backend:MongoDB, MQTT, TypeScript,React Asterisk, Node.js
■Infrastructure: Linux (Ubuntu Server) Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafna, Rancher, Proxmox

■Preferred
・Experience developing systems using IoT and sensors
・Introductory knowledge of computer hardware (e.g., experience assembling self-made PCs)
・English reading comprehension skills (used for checking specifications and chatting with foreign nationals)
