半導体製造工程全般を理解した上で、顧客のニーズを確認し、自社製品の販売戦略を構築、遂行する。単に一営業というだけではなく、工場の開発・生産部門に加えて、サービスサポート部門に対しても、顧客の要求を満足させるよう部門全体の管理・統括を行う
