• Develop high quality, efficient and reusable code for back-end and front-end components.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate various technologies and ensure seamless deployment on AWS.
• Optimize application performance through rigorous testing and debugging practices.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust MySQL/SQL/Oracle database structures.
• Keep abreast of developments in web technologies and programming languages.
• Provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement software development best practices, including agile methodologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process.
• Leverage domain knowledge in Life & Annuity to improve application relevance and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Optimize application performance through rigorous testing and debugging practices.
• Ensure data integrity and security by implementing robust MySQL / SQL / Oracle database structures.
• Stay abreast of developments in web technologies and programming languages.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Analyze user requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
• Implement best practices in software development, including Agile methodologies
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development process.
• Utilize domain knowledge in Life and Annuities Insurance to enhance application relevance and user experience.

Requirements:

• More than 4 years of software development experience
• Proven experience with MySQL, JavaScript, Java, AngularJS, Spring Boot, SQL, AWS, Angular versions 13-16, Typescript
• Experience creating REST-based microservices using Spring Boot
• Experience with OOPS concepts, Web API and Entity Framework.
• Experience with stream processing using Serverless Functions.
• Knowledge of software implementation best practices
• Knowledge and experience of RDBMS (Oracle/DB2, etc.)
• Knowledge of and experience using version control tools (preferably GIT).
• Knowledge of and experience using CI/CD tools.
• Experience with AWS Lambda and other services.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Commitment to software development excellence and customer satisfaction

Language: Conversational Japanese (Japanese Language Proficiency Test N3) and business level English 

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in software development
• Prove experience in MySQL, JavaScript, Java, AngularJS, Spring Boot, SQL, AWS, and Angular versions 13-16, Typescript
• Must have experience creating REST based microservices using SpringBoot
• Must have strong experience in OOPS concepts, Web API, Entity Framework
• Should have experience in Stream Processing using Serverless Functions
• Should have strong knowledge of software implementation best practices
• Should have knowledge and worked with any RDBMS (Oracle/DB2 etc),
• Should have knowledge and worked with any versioning tool, preferable GIT
• Should have knowledge and worked with any CI/CD tool
• Good to have - understanding of the Life and Annuities Insurance domain is essential, experience with AWS Lambda and other serivces
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
