●Position Summary Job Description
This role will work in Sakura Commercial Validation engineering function at the Senior Manager level. He or she will lead all LAMER brand’s product and packaging components’ validation line trial work in Filling and Assembly Area. Here are the details.

Major Duties:
・Plan and run filling assembly line trials to validate LMAER product transferred from other ELC plants to Sakura plant.
・Plan and run filling assembly line trials to validate LMAER new product first launched in ELC at Sakura plant.
・Plan and run filling assembly line trials to validate LMAER regionalized new components to drive saving at Sakura plant.
・Connect with Packaging R D purchasing and suppliers to improve the components pack out quality and ensure the components ready before the line trial date.
・Work with global agility transfer management team to evaluate new SKU’s transfer feasibility validation bracketing strategy and line trial plans.
・Work with new product launch team for new product validation plans.
・Connect with QA team and LAMER brand team to confirm line trial product quality.
・Review and approve Bill of Material in SAP after line trials.
・Develop and validate filling and assembly specifications.
・Support Tertiary Packaging team to design and test Tertiary packages.
・Provide change parts requirements assessment and work with site engineering team to ensure machine will be ready before the line trial date.
・Develop line trial protocols reports share learnings follow ups after line trial completed.

Requirement：
・Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering Industrial Design Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
・Minimum of 5 years of experience in package design or validation engineering preferably within the cosmetic or consumer goods industry.
・Strong understanding of packaging materials manufacturing processes.
・Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
・Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
・Strong problem solving abilities and great passion in driving cost savings.
