The Ideal Candidate:
•Passionate about teaching young children and fostering their development
•Skilled in designing effective curriculums that captivate and inspire students
•Creative and able to develop engaging, original lessons that maintain student interest
•Possesses native-level English proficiency
•High energy and a positive attitude, bringing enthusiasm to the classroom
•Strong problem-solving skills, able to adapt quickly and handle challenges as they arise
•Stress-resistant and capable of maintaining a calm, focused approach in a busy teaching environment
•More than 3 years of professional teaching experience with young children
•Holds a valid working visa and currently resides in Japan
Not Ideal Candidates/Attitudes:
•Those with no prior experience in teaching young children will not be considered.
•Individuals who view this as just a job for living, rather than a calling, are not suited for this position.
•Those who struggle with adaptability or maintaining a positive classroom environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
•Create and deliver engaging, interactive lessons for 6-7-year-olds
•Prepare lesson materials and activities, including crafts and games
•Maintain classroom management to ensure a fun and productive learning environment
•Provide regular updates on student progress to parents and staff
•Adapt the curriculum to meet student needs while following the yearly lesson plan
•Develop daily lesson plans to ensure structured, effective learning
Challenges of the Job:
Teaching young learners can be demanding and requires a lot of energy and patience.
Adapting lessons for different learning styles and keeping students engaged for extended periods can be difficult.
You must manage multiple tasks, including lesson planning, material preparation, and classroom organization.
Class Details:
Class Type: Group Lessons
Age Group: 6 to 7-year-olds
Class Size: 6 to 10 students
Class Duration: 45 minutes per class (4 classes/day)
Lesson Structure:
Interactive, activity-based lessons designed to keep young learners engaged
Focus on foundational English skills: vocabulary, phonics, simple sentences, and basic grammar
Use of crafts, songs, games, and storytelling to create a fun learning experience
Working Conditions:
5 days a week (Sunday + one weekday off)
8-hour shifts with a 1-hour break (from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM)
Fixed salary: ¥270,000 - ¥350,000 (depending on experience) + travel expenses
Note:
We are open to hiring both full-time and semi-full-time teacher, the salary for semi-full-time positions will differ.
