• Gaining deep commercial and technical knowledge of materials, supply chains, and processes.
• Monitoring market trends to maximize cost efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Creating innovative, cost-effective sourcing options and negotiating supplier contracts.
• Managing raw material price fluctuations driven by market and energy changes.
• Developing and managing supplier relationships to align with business goals and identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Supporting global and regional supply strategies while working with cross-functional teams.
• Overseeing supplier performance and ensuring alignment with R&D efforts.

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Industry Expertise: At least 8 years of experience in sales, purchasing, or commercially oriented roles with a focus on complex negotiations.
• Skills: Strong experience in commercial negotiations, business planning, and strategy development.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Japanese and English.
