Seizing Emerging Market Opportunities

  • Develop key account relationships focused on commercial solar projects and ground-mounted installations.
  • Expand the market to create additional business opportunities.
  • Represent the company, fostering relationships with local governments, project investors, and developers.
  • Acquire new customers while managing existing client accounts.
  • Track key account activities using Salesforce and provide regular reports to leadership.
  • Participate in local and regional trade fairs.
  • Drive growth in the company's market share.
  • Boost revenues, profitability, and cash flow in line with the company's established KPIs.
  • Support marketing efforts and communications strategies.
  • Develop and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the market and industry.
  • Execute action plans to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Frequently travel to engage with existing and prospective clients.

Required Skills

  • Good understanding of the local Japanese market
  • A minimum of 2 years (Sales Manager) or 5 years (Senior Sales Manager) successful B2B sales experience in PV Solar industry in the local Japanese market
  • Proven track record of successful execution of sales targets in previous roles
  • Result-driven approach and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong negotiation, communication and organization skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills as well as intercultural skills
  • High reliability and ability to work under pressure
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, self-motivated and excellent teamworker
  • Willingness/ability to travel on a regular basis
  • Japanese fluent, English and/or Chinese a plus
