Operation Staff (Ocean)

This position will involve ocean export operations exclusively for top clients. Based on customer SOPs, you will be responsible for daily tasks ranging from bookings to coordinating with clients and overseas branches, and arranging transportation.

Description

• Forwarder sea export work
• Coordinate with customers, external warehouses, subcontractors, customs brokers, and overseas branches to arrange shipments
• Bookings for shipping companies and carriers, and space adjustments
• Timely data entry into our system and invoice creation
• Data entry into customer systems and document creation
• Coordination and cooperation with other departments within the company
• Arrangements for application for Certificate of Origin and Certificate of Specific Origin
• Work instructions and guidance for dispatched staff
• Meetings with in-house KAM, face-to-face and online meetings with customers or overseas branches

• Experience in forwarding
• Proficient in Japanese and English (business level conversation, reading and writing)
• MS office skills
• Experience in seaborne exports preferred
