Job Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to define, prioritize, develop and hold meetings on projects.
• Project management planning, including setting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
• Oversee project development and ensure team members are completing tasks efficiently while adhering to company standards.
• Develop new and improve existing Project Management Office policies and processes.
• Continually evaluate projects to ensure they meet Rakuten standards and deadlines.
• Accurately document the creation, development, and execution of projects, including scope, budget, and justification.
• Application of appropriate test measurements and metrics within product and test teams.
• Facilitate diverse teams, including testing teams and automation development teams.
• Provide verbal and written communication regarding project status, risks and issues.
• Ensuring that company resources are efficiently utilized.
• Conduct ongoing risk assessment and mitigation on all projects.
• Manage the progress and health of the entire project
• Track milestones and deliverable status across your portfolio.
• Monitor project risks and risk mitigation progress
• Improve operational efficiency and project performance
• Effective management and utilization of corporate resources

Responsibilities

• Drafting new and improving existing project management office policies and processes.

• Accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution, including scope, budget, and justification.
• Applying test measurements and metrics in the product and Testing Team.
• Driving diversified teams such as test and automation development teams.
• Providing both verbal and written communications regarding project status, risks, and issues.
• Ensuring enterprise resources are efficiently utilized.
• Conducting ongoing risk assessment and mitigation across all projects.
• Managing overall progress and health of projects.
• Tracking the status of milestones and deliverables across the portfolio.
• Monitoring project risks and progress on mitigating these risks.
• Improving operational efficiency and project performance.
• Effectively managing and utilizing enterprise resources.

Requirements

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification.
• 8-12 years of project management experience in IT/Telecom industry.
• Excellent skills in MS Office, SmartSheet and MS Project.
• He has a strong interest in detail and technical aspects.
• Excellent organizational and technical capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills
• Written and verbal communication skills

Required language skills : Fluent Japanese and business level English.

Qualification:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification.
• 8 to 12 years' experience in the IT/Telecom Industry with project management.
• Excellent skills in MS Office, SmartSheet, and MS Project.
• Strong attention to details and technicalities.
• Excellent organizational and technical skills.
• Good interpersonal and multitasking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Language skills: Fluent-level Japanese and business-level English are required.
