Senior DevOps Engineer

We at CareerCross are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team and take on the exciting challenge of building and maintaining complex, high performance systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and improving AWS infrastructure, and code pipelines on GitHub
• Maintaining and improving Cloudflare infrastructure
• Tracing and troubleshooting issues from browser to back-end
• Maintaining and troubleshooting Ubuntu and AWS Linux configuration issues
• Maintaining and improving Docker based local development environments
• Performing system updates, and other daily maintenance tasks

Essential Skills

• Experience maintaining a Linux based web stack (Linux, Apache or Nginx, MySQL)
• Experience with basic AWS technologies/concepts (VPC, IAM, EC2, ELB)
• Experience maintaining/building code pipelines
• Experience maintaining a Linux PC
• Experience running docker containers
• Working in a primarily English environment
• Strong sense of curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies/practices
• Responsible habits when dealing with sensitive environments
• Ability to work both alone and as a team when needed

Desired skills

• Experience with AWS technologies like ECS, ECR, RDS, S3
• Experience with GitHub actions
• Experience with docker composer
• Experience writing Terraform code for AWS, GitHub, Cloudflare
• Ability to communicate in Japanese with business stakeholders

Team & Working Environment Team environment with members working both remotely and on-premise at the company headquarters and candidate should be flexible to work at office as well whenever its needed.

Apart from above skills, know-how of recruitment / HR industry, adding value through architecture improvements / suggestions and contribution in product delivery will be an added advantage.
