A global packaging manufacturer is looking for a Head of SCM. The selected candidate will lead and optimise the supply chain management operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SCM team across regions
• Strive to meet target SCM metrics
• Procure polyethylene for cap production
• Create production plans based on forecasts
• Source additional materials for cap and can production
• Lead a team of SCM staff
• Report to global and local SCM leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above
• More than 5 years of experience in managing purchasing, logistics, and operations planning
• Experience in external and internal auditing is ideal
• Prior experience managing a purchasing tram and various purchasing work in a manufacturing company
• Proven experience in reporting in an international manufacturing company is ideal
• Understanding of costing, budget, forecasting, reporting and analysis in purchasing and logistics area of manufacturing company
• Background in polyethylene procurement
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP
• Fluent level written and verbal English and Japanese
