A renowned technology company is searching for an Operational Buyer. The selected applicant will be responsible for negotiating with suppliers to ensure competitive prices and timely delivery. This is a hybrid setup position.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure on-time delivery performance and operational supplier quality
• Procure components and assemblies in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as engineering, project management, and production
• Maintain accurate master data including monitoring and adjusting system data
• Contribute to the definition, implementation, and execution of global and regional spend management strategies for IM&S
• Challenge category teams and leaders within the region and country as a review board member via the continuous improvement process sourcing (CIPS) process
• Oversee the Service Level provided by the PL Global Business Services

Requirements:

• Technical or commercial educational background
• Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in written and verbal English and Japanese; other languages is advantageous
