Company Profile

• An international semiconductor manufacturer that is in the early stages of a major business transformation and globalization journey, is looking for someone to be the most senior representative of IT to their global financial divisions.

The Role

• You'll be working with senior executives such as the Global CFO and the Global IT leadership to ensure that the Finance business unit and IT strategy are closely aligned; you will be ensuring that Finance have all the tools and support to do their job effectively. Essentially, you'll be defining and setting a technical roadmap for the global Finance department - you'll be delivering projects focusing on the platforms and systems used and resolving any major issues that arise.
• To achieve this, you'll initially be leading a team of 10 direct reports and will be managing people both in Japan and internationally, with key team members in North America and Europe - so you'll be using your bilingual Japanese & English skills on a daily basis.

Your Skills

• Business Japanese and English skills are required for this role.
• An internationally minded IT leader, ideally with plenty of knowledge of enterprise finance applications and processes.
• Someone with experience of developing a team and leading high value projects would be ideal for this role.
• Any exposure to the manufacturing industry would be an advantage, but not essential.
