• Global manufacturing company with over 150 years of history. They focusing on doing distribution of their products in Japan with about 50 employees. Our client has good working culture and business has been stable in the last few years.

The Role

• As the Finance Director, this role plays a key part in driving business growth by overseeing the company's financial operations and facilitating cross-functional process improvements. Responsibilities include:
  • Accurately compiling and reporting financial statements and business activities to internal stakeholders.
  • Analyzing the company's financial health as a member of the management team, and offering strategic recommendations for future business planning.
  • Developing and monitoring budgets in consultation with stakeholders, integrating them into key management metrics, and tracking their performance.
  • Managing funds effectively to support business plans and ensuring that business transactions comply with commercial practices and legal standards.
  • Leading financial process improvements to enhance overall company performance.

Your Skills

• Minimum 15 years experience in finance and accounting position
• Fluent in both Japanese and English
• SAP experience will be a plus
• People management will be required
