Duties

(1) Development areas of responsibility of your organization, outline of work and role/position within R&D

- Design and experimentation for advance development of cloud systems and project development in connected cars and services for the global market.

- Specifically, (1) next-generation back-end system advanced development, (2) cloud development for connected services

(2) Specific responsibilities and expected roles and positions within and outside your own department

Design and develop cloud platforms and cloud applications for connected cars and services to provide the connected services required in the global market.　Also, after the release of the service, continuously work on additional requirements, design, and quality improvement to maintain competitiveness.

(3) Work environment and work style (member composition, workplace atmosphere, and characteristics)

The team consists of our company and partner companies, and many of our employees are mid-career hires from IT/infrastructure companies.

There are meetings with partner companies, including offshore companies, and regions where connected cars & services are deployed, and there are many opportunities for communication using English.

We actively participate in interdepartmental study sessions and external training courses, making time every week to improve our skills and product competitiveness separately from our work.

Application Requirements

＜MUST>

• Currently residing in Japan.

- Experience in service development/operation using back-end or web front-end frameworks

- High skill in at least one programming language (Java, JS, etc.)

- Knowledge and experience with cloud system (platform application) software and its development

- Communication skills in Japanese and English to correctly understand what others are saying and convey what you want to say. *However, Japanese is not required if English is spoken.

- Ability to read and write documents and conduct business conversation in English

Experience in the automotive industry: a plus
