  • A multinational medical device manufacturer for whom Japan is the second largest global market. This company has a strong presence in Japan, and have technical teams in several APAC countries, and you'll have regular communication with these overseas teams.
  • A major pharmaceutical company with global operations, who have recently merged their Japan and APAC IT functions and can offer candidates exposure to a mix of local, regional, and global projects, are looking for a solution architect to focus on a range of system development projects for different business units.
  The Role
  
  
  • The biggest mission will be to lead & review system design proposals for Japan - these could be global integration projects, or local solutions. You'll also be driving the modernization of Japan architecture and will designing innovative solutions that align with the wider business goals. Your projects will typically focus on system design, application development, data flow design, etc.
  Your Skills
  
  
  • Business level Japanese and English are mandatory for this role as you'll be working with a wide range of stakeholders across different business units.
  • A solution / system architecture background would be ideal for this role, though we could also consider high level & bilingual developers who have strong project management experience.
  • Any knowledge of the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or medical device sector would be advantageous.
