A renowned international mining company is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will oversee local finance functions, including accounting, tax-reporting, credit control, and external audit coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Regional Business Controller and focus on local sales company activities
• Manage accounting tasks, tax-reporting, credit control, bank structure, and external audit coordination
• Support the Management team in driving business from a business control perspective
• Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure timely and accurate local tax reporting and oversee banking tasks
• Coordinate external and internal audits, and perform credit control tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in finance or accounting
• More than 5 years of experience in finance and accounting
• Experience in a global environment and with group reporting
• Prior experience in people management
• Excellent general accounting skills
• Understanding of Japanese accounting standards
• Familiarity with IFRS
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Proven experience in business control is ideal
• Fluent level Japanese and English
