Our client is a leading global financial services group with an extensive network that spans over 30 countries. This company operates in a dynamic and diverse IT environment, providing technical support, application development, and system implementation for various business units.

The company is going through an transformation of its IT platform to a cloud-based model, emphasizing automation and self-service capabilities.The Storage team plays a crucial role within the Infrastructure Core Services, managing and enhancing storage platforms that include both in-house and vendor-managed solutions.

The Role

• Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance storage operations and reduce manual processes.
• Develop, test, and deploy new services and improvements for tape backup systems.
• Lead and coordinate storage-related projects and initiatives both locally and globally.
• Provide Level 3 support for global storage platforms, including incident management and on-call support.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure reliable and scalable storage solutions.
• Document operational procedures and provide guidance to team members.

Your Skills

• Proficiency in both Japanese (N2 or higher) and English (Toeic 600+), with strong communication skills.
• Experience with automation tools, like Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Experience with Veritas Netbackup and managing enterprise storage systems (e.g., Hitachi/NetApp NAS, SAN, and HCP).
• Experience with VMware ESX Hypervisor, MS Windows Server and Redhat Enterprise Linux.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across different regions.
