A global electronic appliances manufacturer is seeking an International Logistics Assistant Manager. The selected candidate will oversee shipping schedules, manage forwarders, handle customs clearance, and optimise logistics performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Manage shipping schedules between international countries
• Oversee forwarder relationships and logistics for customs clearance
• Ensure compliance with food contact regulations and manage test requirements and historical data
• Implement positive list management and cost allocation
• Plan and optimise shipping lead times and damage rates
• Prepare and present reports on logistics performance

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in Import/Export operations including Quarantine
• Experience with ocean shipments and tangible finished products is preferred
• Knowledge of logistics and warehouse management is advantageous
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Native level Japanese; business level English
