A global pharmaceutical organisation is searching for an APAC Tax Senior Manager. The qualified individual will oversee tax compliance, reporting, audits, and transfer pricing implications. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage direct and indirect tax compliance and US tax reporting
• Ensure effective planning and execution of local tax compliance requirements
• Support tax audits and provide tax support for local business
• Conduct financial and functional analyses for transfer pricing implications
• Advise on tax legislations and coordinate tax provision preparations
• Utilise technology for effective calculations and financial models

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Law or Accounting
• Master's degree or above in Tax or Finance
• More than 7 years of experience in a multi-national corporate environment including Tax compliance and reporting in at least one jurisdiction
• More than 3 years of management experience
• Practical experience in Japanese tax
• Prior experience in global or regional roles with awareness of cultural diversity
• Experience in managing and developing staff
• Proficient in accounting provisions, accounting principles, audit, and disclosure requirements of financial statements
• Understanding of US GAAP
• Possess a valid CA or CPA membership
• Fluent level English and Japanese
