Job Description

Job Description Summary:
Manage the sales and business development for all OSM products lines for Japan. The key objective is to meet sales revenue targets while increasing market share and maintaining the margin expectations of the region with focus on direct Top Customers and Top Products sales along with management of Top Distributors in Japan.

Job Description:

  • Manage OSM organization in Japan and own the sales growth to meet or exceed the assigned revenue and bookings targets.
  • Identify opportunities and drive actions that will accelerate growth and expand OSM product content within key customer base and to improve margins by selling on value
  • Provide and execute to deliver on short-term and long-term sales and marketing strategies.
  • Develop, inspire, motivate, and lead direct reports (sales and technical support teams)
    ensuring a high level of engagement in delivering strategic, operational and financial objectives.
  • Develop strong direct, key customer relationships and establish partnerships with the division HQ and other regional offices to achieve shared business goals.
  • Work strategically with other OSM regional leaders to optimize cross selling and key account strategy.
  • Provide feedback to management, including monthly reports on sales/market activities & long-term sales forecasts.

Required Skills

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical or equivalent.
  • 10+years related capital equipment sales and distribution channel management experiences is required.
  • Experience in SMT, Semiconductor, or Electronics Device industry is required.
  • Effective and concise communication skills and English proficiency is a must.
  • Ability to fully understand the market needs and communicate to global organizations the market and customers’ needs.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and organization operations.
  • Independent, pro-active, well organized and willingness to learn.
