Headquartered and listed in Europe, our client develops high-tech instruments, advanced sensors, and software solutions for a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, electronics, automotive, and industrial automation.

Description

• Advise business unit on financial analysis, risk control, and operational improvements from order to cash and purchase to payment.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and timely reporting, managing financial statements in both IFRS and J-GAAP.
• Manage Capex, IFRS lease accounting, annual tax reconciliation, and overall treasury activities.
• Support budgeting, financial analysis, and the development of efficient accounting systems and procedures.
• Manage interactions with external consultants, local authorities, and support ad hoc financial management tasks.

• Relevant years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in multinational companies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of finance and accounting, including relevant regulations and legislation.
• Proficiency in reporting, budgeting, and forecasting; experience with SAP (S4) is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong focus on performance, results, risk management, and internal controls.
• Fluent in Japanese; basic to fluent English with a strong ambition to improve.
