Product Logistics Coordinator

PlayBrain’s Products team imports and produces game related products for the Japanese market. The Product Logistics Coordinator will be primarily responsible for working with our manufacturing and brand partners to acquire products and import them into Japan. Future expansion may include export of our original products to foreign markets.

Responsibilities:

• Import and export management of shipping agents and partners

• Management of manufacture
• Local Logistics coordination
• Inventory management
• Stock keeping

Must have skills:

• Business level Japanese and English (other languages a bonus… esp. Chinese)
• 4+ years of experience in similar field
• University or equivalent qualification or additional 4 years experience in the field
• Familiarity with Japanese import customs process
• Familiarity with shipping processes (although we work with shipping agents for coordination)

Good to have skills:

• Interest in game culture
• Experience working with manufacturing companies in the area of toys and/or apparel
