An international logistics organisation is searching for a Country Manager. The selected candidate will be managing the full spectrum of sales, operation, and financial functions through functional managers.

Responsibilities:

• Implement decisions taken during various review and budget meetings in line with organisational goal
• Lead and monitor trade lane development, product, pricing, and business development strategies
• Ensure all reports are prepared as per guidelines set by the corporate office in respective areas of finance, sales, operations, and administrative matters
• Understand the competitor's strategy and suggest counter strategies or other innovations to fight the competition
• Establish performance and productivity goals that are aggressive, real, and tied to overall company strategy and goals for the country
• Lead the team of managers in sales efforts, including developing new business, and revenue-generating activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in a logistics-related major is preferred
• More than 15 years of experience in ocean freight operations and business development in a freight forwarding company
• More than 10 years of experience in a management position
• Prior risk management experience
• Good P&L Management skills
• Proficient in Japanese; business level English
