Senior Accountant - Luxury Retail

Company Profile

Our client is a famous luxury retail company founded more than 100 years ago. Currently they have more than 100 retail stores in Japan and looking for Senior Accountant to support in closing activities.

The Role

• Responsible for finalizing and approving financial statements in compliance with statutory and IFRS regulations, accompanied by detailed financial analysis and commentary.
• Oversee the final delivery of group reporting.
• Monitor and manage treasury operations rigorously, including cash flow management and strategic decision-making.
• Ensure timely and compliant processing of all payments according to established schedules, and review and update payment approval procedures in line with corporate delegation of authority.
• Collaborate closely with the Shared Service team to accurately book monthly and year-end accruals, such as personnel costs, communication expenses, and other operational expenditures.
• Ensure that all processes are fully compliant with internal policies

Your Skills

• Minimum 3 years' experience in year end closing and tax filing.
• SAP experience is preferred
• Business level Japanese and English
