The primary function of the Product Development Engineer is to lead the product develop team and develop Li Ion battery systems and sub systems according to customer market need and therefore to
・ Establish develop a local product development engineering team. Manage the team in multidiscipline matrix organization and responsible for hiring/training/developing the team and fully integrate the team into the global engineering team with support of the global HQ;
・ Work with various business activities and team members to capture and document the business requirements for new applications new features or enhancements to existing applications;
・ Maintain a balance between business viability user desirability and technical feasibility while delivering products with a team;
・ Work closely with Business Partners to clarify/define/update Global product vision and customer strategy and break it down into an executable backlog of user stories for the development team;
・ Work hands on with the development team to prioritize plan and deliver solution that meets client requirements in terms of Pre sales support Project Execution delivery as well as strategizing product strategy and roadmap for specific customer needs;
・ Lead the local engineering team to work along with the global PDP team in product development following APQP process and Conduct reviews over product specification development and validations; Responsible for all project technical Documentary deliveries e.g. Technical proposal/ System definition/ drawing/ ADVP/homologation/ SFMEA/ DFMEA and be technical interface between customer CATL;
・ Develop customer relationship with focus customer groups from technical side take care of customer surveys and understand technical benchmark project/product priorities market trends and competition situation. Provide direction as to relevant customer group and influence customer with global team support;

・グローバルPDPチームと連携し、APQPプロセスに従って製品開発を行い、製品仕様、開発、バリデーションに関するレビューを実施する；
・技術的な側面から顧客グループとの関係を構築し、顧客調査を行い、技術ベンチマーク、プロジェクト／製品の優先順位、市場動向、競合状況を理解する。関連する顧客グループに指示を与え、グローバルチームのサポートを得て顧客に影響を与える；
