AirFreight Export Supervisor

The role involves coordinating export consolidated cargo at the company's Narita Cargo Center.
The main work will be purchasing space for air export cargo, negotiating prices, and handling
quotes from both domestic and overseas sources.

Description

• Purchasing space in the Tokyo area and negotiating prices
• Maintaining and managing regular purchasing space
• Responding to and managing bids for SPOT requests for quotation from Japan and overseas and analyzing the results
• Preparing and responding to bids from large shippers
• Creating, proposing and managing new services/solutions
• Support work for event/project cargo transportation
• Market research and analysis, sharing information with other departments within the company,
  formulating purchasing strategies

• Experience working in the air export consolidated division of a forwarder (3 years or more)
• OR Experience working at an airline (in-house cargo reservations, sales, etc. Positions that involve interaction with forwarders. 3 years or more)
