Your role
As a Senior Associate Project Development, you will organize and support land acquisition for solar power projects by developing suitable sites and negotiating with landowners. Your responsibilities include evaluating environmental impacts, arranging necessary assessments, managing legal procedures and contracts, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You are a team player, eager to learn more and take care of the project details.

Your responsibilities

• Support in land acquisition for projects by identifying suitable sites for solar
  power plants and negotiating with landowners.
• Evaluate environmental impacts, plan and arrange for necessary environmental
  assessments, and help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage legal procedures and contracts related to land acquisitions and ensure compliance as directed by your supervisor.
• Support the project manager in their stakeholder management with local governments and local communities

• Location: Tokyo Office (Shinagawa)
• Employment Type: Full-time or part-time (min. 50%)
• Salary Range: 5.0-7.5m JPY
• Bonus: not applicable

Required skills and qualifications

• University degree and minimum 2-3 years of work experience
• Knowledge and experience in real estate and legal matters preferred. Skills in understanding the legal aspects and proper procedures in land transactions and contracts are a plus.
• Understanding of environmental assessments preferred. Experience in assessing and managing the impact of a project on the local environment and communities is desired.
• Experience using GIS tools in land selection and project planning is a plus.
• Ability to write and communicate in English for internal communication.
• A cooperative personality that shares information appropriately and facilitate progress across the team
• The ability to adapt to sudden changes in circumstances and project progress is required.
• Attention to project details, accuracy, and care. Focus on quality and strive to minimize errors.
