Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE AND FUNCTION:

The Client Services Representative position is designed to support all badge, access, and customer
service related requests. The Client Services Representative must have excellent customer service
skills, computer efficient and be able to multi task.

PRIORITIZED SPECIFIC DUTIES PERFORMED AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Create access control badges to include all programming as it relates to activation and deactivation.
  2. Process badges and maintain appropriate logs regarding the issuance, return and track all associated actions.
  3. Perform customer service by interacting with internal and external clients and assisting in finding resolutions of issues or concerns
  4. Monitor all communication devices to include but not limited to: phones, emails or online requests
  5. Maintain resiliency with team members-cross train as directed by supervisor and manager
  6. Report all issues that cannot be resolved within scope of work to supervisor

DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:

Independent:

  • The Client Services Representative must be able to use sound judgment daily in regards to non-public information

Indirect:

  • Comply with badging procedures and protocols and make suggestions to modify procedures as needed
  • Submit requests for specialized training or cross-training with other security teams
  • He/ she must have working knowledge of policies and procedures and exercise personal discretion within given guidelines

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

Position Title to which this position directly reports: Client Services Coordinator

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:

Environment: Office
Major activity: Working on PC and using telephone while sitting
Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, limited
stretching and reaching.
