Part Time Bilingual Business Analyst ◆東京リモート｜技術・金融業界でのデータ分析

Location:Remote (Must be located in the Tokyo area for client proximity)

Job Type: Part-Time (Potential to Evolve into Full-Time)

Salary: between 3000 & 4000 JPY/hour

Working hours: The working hours are flexible depending on the engagement with clients and the team, for estimation, you may expect around 40~60% a week (2~3 days a week).

We're on the lookout for a skilled Bilingual Business Analyst to join us as we penetrate the Japanese market. This role is pivotal in our strategic initiatives for growth in Japan, contributing significantly to our market expansion efforts.

Your Role:

1. Client Communication:
   • Serve as the primary liaison between Japanese clients and the internal development team.
   • Conduct meetings with clients to gather and understand their business requirements, objectives, and challenges.
   • Translate client requirements and feedback from Japanese to English and vice versa, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
2. Requirement Analysis:
   • Analyze and document client requirements, creating detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
   • Collaborate with clients to prioritize requirements and define the scope of the project.
3. Project Planning and Coordination:
   • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining the scope, timeline, resources, and key milestones for project delivery.
   • Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure that the client’s requirements are clearly understood and met throughout the development lifecycle.
   • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients, ensuring transparency and managing expectations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Fluent in both English and Japanese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a meticulous approach to detail.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in the technology or financial services industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
• Experience with business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modeling, data analysis, and requirement management.
• IT project experience is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of power trading or financial services industry.
• Experience working with cross-functional and international teams.
• Familiarity with project management software, such as JIRA 
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
