In April, the application underwent a major renewal, and real-time streaming of all five key stations and a login function using TVer IDs were launched. In addition to the "Favorites" feature, resume information is shared among smartphones, PCs, and connected televisions (CTVs), and programs that are being streamed in real time can be "chasing playback".

TVer viewing on CTV has already exceeded 25% of all views. They will continue to expand CTV's services so that more and more users can enjoy them. TVer will continue to change to further improve usability.

Five years after the service was launched in 2015, it achieved 100 million monthly video views. Furthermore, in April 2022, both the PC site, smartphone application, and TV application underwent a major renewal, and a real-time terrestrial broadcast streaming service was launched in addition to the previously provided service of streaming missed commercial TV programs. The number of contents handled has also increased, growing to 390 million monthly views and 30 million monthly users as of October 2023.
With the mission of "opening up the TV for a more exciting future," the company is making a fresh start with the goal of providing a service that allows people to enjoy their TVs more freely and in any style, anywhere.

■About the Recruitment Department
The engineering organization of the Advertising Business Division develops and maintains the delivery system and systems in the advertising peripheral area for TVer Ads, the advertising product delivered by TVer, a service with a total of 70 million downloads and 390 million video views per month.
Currently, the Internet video advertising market continues to expand rapidly. However, there are many things that have not been achieved in response to the expansion of the scale of the service, and we are in a state of urgent need to strengthen the system to further enhance the product.

The engineering organization is in the process of building out its organizational structure, and at this point, the team is a small group of elite engineers. So, you can challenge yourself beyond your own area of responsibility as soon as you raise your hand, regardless of whether it is server-side, infrastructure, or client-side.
In addition, since I belong to the same department as the sales staff, you can immediately reflect the client's issues in the product, and since the functions you develop are immediately sold by the sales staff, you can feel that you are directly contributing to the company's profits.
The ad technology field is an environment where you can not only improve your own technical skills, but also where you can take the initiative in proposing and implementing ways to create an engineering organization and development system.

■Responsibilities
In this position, you will be involved in the development of new advertising products.
The company offers a variety of advertising products, including in-stream ads, but currently the development team is still small, so this is an environment where you can challenge yourself in areas other than server-side development in parallel if you so desire.

・Development and operation of advertising products sold by the company
・Architectural design of server-side systems
・Engineering of systems from requirement definition to design, development, testing, and release in a single cycle

■Holidays and Vacations

・Experience developing and operating web applications in Java or Go (5+ years)
・Experience in public cloud application development (5+ years)
・Experience refactoring to improve systems (both large and small)
