【Senior IT Security Engineer】Enter the SPACE TECH Industry! Exclusive job

This company is a space tech company in Tokyo, who develop and launch their own satellites to collect data on changes in the earth’s surface using Synthetic Aperture Radar. This data is then used e.g. by the government to detect and ultimately mitigate damages from natural disasters, or construction companies to fix bridges before they collapse. 

In other words; their data helps save lives! 

As you can imagine, Information Security plays a crucial role in the space industry, not just for the company, but for all of Japan in an international context. That's why they are now looking for an IT Security Engineer to guarantee Information Safety across different departments and locations.

You will be responsible for:

• Information security management of: Web application, satellite development and operation processes, internal security support, and in-house applications
• Infrastructure diagnosis (scope of support can be adjusted according to skill), technical support for information security such as ISMS
• Management and operation of information systems: Technical security support (operating internal systems, responding to internal inquiries

Target systems: Cloud services (groupware, communication tools), office systems (networks, etc.), employee PCs, smartphones, peripheral equipment

We are looking for someone who has expertise in information security and can develop operational scripts to improve productivity, as well as conduct investigations and security diagnoses.

• Provem work experience with information security
• Ability to conduct investigations and security diagnoses
• Experience with IT security regulations (ISMS/privacy mark/company rules, etc.)
• Ability to create operational scripts, configure cloud services, and conduct technical research on vulnerabilities.
• Simple reading in English and daily conversational level in Japanese
