Position Overview
We are looking for a results-driven Portfolio Finance Manager to manage a portfolio of under
construction and operating Wind projects, maximizing their operating and financial performance while minimizing risks to lenders and investors.
The Portfolio Finance Manager will work closely with various teams in the Tokyo office (development, engineering, O&M, legal, finance, accounting), and often other teams in the Chicago head office. This person will assume the overall financial management of projects once they reach financial close, through construction and into operation.
The Japan office currently relies on an external asset management service provider, while creating an in-house portfolio management team to directly manage all external stake holders including investor, JV partner, lender, utility, EPC, O&M, Insurance contractor, etc.
The successful candidate should have a strong financial background, excellent organizational skills, be a formidable negotiator and a positive-minded team player. This is a junior to mid-level career position.
