Job Description

新規事業のシステム構築に携わるチャンスです。D&I、従業員の能力開発、持続可能性やCSRに定評のある欧州企業で働きませんか。

業務内容

  • 立ち上げ中の新規事業において、テクニカル・ビジネスアナリストとしてシステム構築プロジェクトを担当していただきます。具体的な職務は以下の通り:
  • 要件の収集・分析、ビジネスニーズの理解(ステークホルダーと協力)
  • プロジェクトの方向性の検討、アプリケーション開発のための要件仕様書の作成
  • 現在のビジネスプロセスやシステム機能の理解、プロセスマッピング
  • プロセスの改善提案、ワークショップやサポートの提供
  • システム導入・コンフィギュレーションのテクニカルサポート(プロジェクトマネージャーや(プリ)セールスチームと連携
  • 開発者テスト、ユーザーセントリック・テスト、トレーニングの技術的なサポート
  • ステークホルダー・コミュニケーション(プロジェクト進捗共有、課題解決など)
  • メンテナンスや研修用の文書作成(プロジェクトの進捗状況、変更点、システム設計、実装など)
  • チームディスカッションのリード

Diverse team in global company looking for experienced IT BA to build out new business arm in insurance sector.

Roles/Responsibilities

As a Technical Business Analyst, your role involves actively participating in projects related to system buildouts, encompassing activities from requirements definition to AUT and stakeholder management. The company is starting a new business arm, working closely with partners, and this team builds out the new solutions for them.

The key aspects of your role include:

1. Requirements Definition:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to collect and analyze requirements and understand business needs.
  • Creating requirement specification documents to guide the project direction and specify application development.

2. Process Mapping:

  • Understanding current business processes or system functionalities and mapping for improvement.
  • Coordinating with business or relevant stakeholders and conducting workshops or providing support as needed.

3. Technical Support:

  • Utilizing advanced technical skills to actively support the actual system implementation (configuration), together with the Project Managers, and (Pre-)Sales team.
  • Providing support for developer testing, user-centric testing, and training.

4. Communication:

  • Ensuring smooth communication with stakeholders, reporting on project progress, and addressing challenges.

5. Documentation:

  • Creating detailed documentation on project progress, changes, system design, and implementation for maintenance and training purposes.
  • Summarizing requirements for direct system implementation or providing implementation support.

6. Problem Solving:

  • Clarifying and analyzing real challenges related to business requirements and desires.
  • Exploring potential solutions based on personal experience, not limited to IT-based solutions.

7. Team Collaboration:

  • Providing necessary input for the team to collectively devise solutions.
  • Supporting discussions within the team to arrive at solutions.

Required Skills

必須条件

  • 保険業界でのITビジネスアナリスト経験5年以上(損害保険業界がベスト;但し必須ではありません)
  • 保険契約管理または顧客向けWebシステムの要件定義経験3年以上
  • 保険業界向けソリューション、特にサードパーティセクターに関する経験、または高度な専門知識
  • パッケージ導入を伴うプロジェクトにおける要件定義・実装の経験または知識
  • 保険ビジネスのライフサイクルがわかること(保険金請求など、特定の分野に詳しければ尚可。一般的な知識でも可)
  • ビジネスレベルの英語力+中級程度の日本語力

優遇条件

  • アジャイル開発手法の知識、特にスクラムの経験
  • ユーザーストーリー形式での要件定義経験
  • 保険業界におけるダイレクトまたはホールセールのいずれかの販売チャネルに関する知識
  • ビジネスアナリスト系の資格(CBAP/CCBA)

Required skills

  • Over 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in the insurance industry (ideally property and casualty, but not necessary).
  • Over 3 years of experience in requirements definition for insurance contract management or customer-facing web systems.
  • Knowledge of solutions for the insurance industry, particularly in the third-party sector (high-level understanding is acceptable).
  • Experience or knowledge in requirements definition and implementation for projects involving package implementation.
  • Knowledge of the end-to-end lifecycle of insurance, with a focus on areas such as claims (general knowledge is acceptable).
  • Business-level proficiency in English + intermediate Japanese.

Preferred skills

  • Knowledge of Agile development methods, particularly experience with Scrum.
  • Experience in requirements definition in the form of user stories.
  • Knowledge of either direct or wholesale sales channels in the insurance industry.
  • Certification related to Business Analysis (CBAP/CCBA).

  • Able to communicate, persuade, and build relationships with people from various walks of life, technical capability, and language capabilities.
  • Can function well with minimal supervision.
