Senior POS System Engineer

One of our Retail customers is looking for a Senior POS System Engineer for their Tokyo office.

The Role:

• Support the implementation and enhancement of Point Of Sale (POS) system and its related systems, such as Reporting Tools, eCom Consumer sales sites, for retail stores.
• Manage support requests raised by retail stores with leveraging external support desk to provide efficient supports to the stores.
• Manage all phases of the project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and post-production support/maintenance.
• Demonstrate effective and collaborative communication with internal team members and Business Partners.
• Coordinate project tasks and ensure accurate estimates are provided for completion of business solutions.

【役割】

• 小売店向けの販売時点情報管理 (POS) システムとその関連システム (レポーティング ツール、eCom Consumer 販売サイトなど) の導入と拡張をサポートします。
• 外部サポート デスクを活用して小売店からのサポート リクエストを管理し、店舗に効率的なサポートを提供します。
• 分析、設計、開発、テスト、導入、生産後のサポート/メンテナンスを含むプロジェクトのライフサイクルのすべての段階を管理します。
• 社内チームメンバーやビジネスパートナーとの効果的で協力的なコミュニケーションを実証します。
• プロジェクトのタスクを調整し、ビジネス ソリューションの完了に向けて正確な見積もりが提供されるようにします。

• Experience with Point Of Sale (POS) system implementation, administration and support.
• Demonstrates strong analytical skill. Ability to work directly with business analysts to translate complex functional design into technical specifications.
• Experience working in Retail IT support
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an affinity for problem-solving
• Documentation and presentation skills
• Japanese Language Skills: Fluent
• English Language Skills: Business
