The client operates across 10 markets with headquarters in Australia.
The Japanese Finance team use several systems in their day-to-day activity and there is a significant need for local support in administering and developing those systems.
Drawing on your experience with Finance technology and process automation, you will recommend ways in which we can utilise existing technology to drive efficiencies in the team. Understanding of existing systems in place and gap-fit analysis will be crucial.
Key Accountabilities
· Supporting the Finance team by maintaining and administering the existing Finance Systems (Business Central, Nouvelle Receivables Management, PBCS, Power BI, Jet Reports, POS systems NCR, Fujitsu & Harbortouch).
· Providing end user assistance and troubleshooting any issues raised.
· Requirements gathering and scoping of projects.
· Estimating time & resources required to deliver projects and the savings that will be provided.
· Documenting new processes and ensuring users are trained.
· Providing expert advice on improvements to existing technologies.
Key Relationships
· Client is an international organisation. This position requires communication with internal stakeholders (ex. Finance & Accounting, Corporate Planning, Human Resources, stores, etc.), Franchisees, external IT vendors, oversea co-workers (ex. US, Australia, Europe, etc.), and other stakeholders to perform the role successfully.
· Build rapport and maintain professional & effective working relationship with, but not limited to, sectional chiefs, and/or management members to enable efficiency & smooth execution.

Required Skills
PRIMARY:
· Experience in Finance System administration (Business Central preferred) or experience in managing Finance System related projects.
· Business proficiency in Japanese and English
· SQL skills
· Advanced Excel (VBA)
· Exposure to BI tools (Power BI preferred)
SECONDARY (Not required but highly valued):
· Full Microsoft technology stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS)
· Power BI (M query, DAX)
· Power Apps / Power Automate
· API connections
· Qualified Accountant
· Patience and diplomatic
· Great sense of humor
