Engineer-CAD/Automotive Exterior Lighting｜N2/N3 OK

Automotive exterior lighting design engineers will work as part of a team onsite to meet the needs of our client in Japan. Technical skill requirement includes:

• Ideal candidate should be either a Graduate or Post graduate in Mechanical Engineering
• Should possess at least 8~10 years of experience in automotive design in automotive exterior lighting design (passanger cars) domain
• Should possess understanding of different manufacturing and joining processes for plastic parts
• Should have excellent knowledge in Advanced surfacing, 3D modelling and drafting using Catia V5 in design of headlamp/ rearlamp components such as housing, lens, light guides, reflectors, bazels etc.
• Should have knowledge of advance technologies in automotive lighting such as DBL, laser/ LED technologies
• Should have good knowledge of GD&T
• Should be a team player and able to work with minimum supervision

Requirements are:

• Relevant university degree(s)
• Relevant experience in Automotive engineering
• To be a good team player 
• willingness to acquire new skills and adapt changes quickly
• Japanese language skills (N2 and up -though may accept N3 depending on skill and experience)
• A robust work ethic 
• Ability to work in team, collaborate and offer/ seek technical support to team members as needed

Selection Contents: Must for JLPT N3 or JLPT N2 Japanese language Skills Necessary .  

Working hours:

Fixed overtime pay: 
※ Extra pay will be paid for overtime work, holiday work and late-night work that exceed the number of working hours set as the basis of fixed overtime pay calculation
