Are you a self-proclaimed linux wiz?  Like to grind out long sessions on the command line?  Always finding yourself looking for answers on the internet for hours on end?  

Pipeline is looking for a linux engineer interested in entering the exciting world of cyber security.

• Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading of IT security solutions.
• Support projects by delivering project deliverables and completing project milestones.
• Develop and maintain technical, operational and configuration documentations required for project implementation.
• Vendor and Customer coordination and management for product implementation and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate security products and conduct Proof of Concept (POC) to verify the effectiveness of each security measures, and to make certain that the security measures will continue to be effective after implementation.
• Provide technical support and incident response for IT security infrastructure components to the maintenance team.

• Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience is preferred
• Knowledge of Networking, firewall and other security technology
• Proven experience with building and installing Linux systems from config files and using command lines.  (Ubuntu, Redhat, BSD, or other)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Team player as well as ability to work independently on tasks
• English communication Written/Speaking/Reading is a must. 
• Proactive self-starter and achiever.

Nice To haves:
- Experience with working in a consulting environment. 
- Able to speak Japanese or Chinese (Mandarin) business level. 
- Experience with cybersercurity tools such as log management, firewall configurations, threat intelligence, or other security related.
