<p>My client is one of the worlds leading Risk management and Insurance Services worldwide and is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the team. In 2021 they had annual revenue of 20 billion dollars and employed 83,000 people, 1000 of them being in Japan. They are one of the strongest players in the market and relatively stable.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>As they rapidly grow, they are looking for a Senior Finance Staff who will join their team of 20 professionals. You will handle all the accounting duties such as monthly closings and reporting to the APAC regions while supporting the team in creating the financial statements in JGAAP once a year.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The client is a publicly-traded company headquartered in New York City. By joining the team, you will also have the opportunity for extensive career growth because it&#39;s a minor section at the moment but owned by a company that was ranked highly on the fortune 500 rankings last year, making them recognized as the most prestigious in the world.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles</li> <li>Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close</li> <li>Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes</li> <li>Research and analyze expense variances for company management</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years&#39; of professional accounting experience</li> <li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience</li> <li>CPA preferred</li> </ul>
