財務マネージャー|Finance Manager, 10M ~

Position Overview:
Finance Manager (Japan) is responsible for the full set of financial accounting & tax requirements for the business. The position is to lead & oversee monthly/quarterly accounting closing accordance with USGAAP, and JGAAP for year-end reconciliation. This position is also responsible for promoting a strong internal control environment throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:
• Manage financial accounting and tax accounting functions
• Corporate tax declaration and filing
• Ensure full compliance with corporate account reconciliation standards, statutory & US GAAP reporting and SOx
• Correspond with auditors / tax auditors / internal auditors / HQ for financial matters
• Manage account receivables and account payable
• Manage and track the performance of invested assets and capital expenditure in keeping with policies and guidelines
• Manage cash-flow and forecasting
• Supervise & develop team of 5 accountants

Education:
• Bachelor degree or above / CPA / Chartered Accountant

Skills:
• 8+ years finance/accounting experience.
• Ability to demonstrate financial integrity & compliance
• Accounting or finance experience, CPA and/or MBA (Finance) a plus
• Knowledge and experience of US/Japan GAAP reporting and Japanese corporate tax filing is a requirement
• Proficiency in SAP or ERP systems, BW/BI, RPA and BPR (e.g. Process Mining) a plus
• Leadership ability
• Ability to anticipate, identify & resolve complex financial issues.

• Excellent logic, judgment & decision-making skills
• Process improvement skills
• Detect and resolve company issues from finance perspective
• Native or Fluent Japanese
• Fluent or Business level English
