The services we provide, such as translation and voice recording, can be mechanized and automated with the advancement of IT. However, words processed mechanically cannot appeal to human sensibilities.
When localizing a game, we place importance on the "worldview of the game," the "feelings of the creators," and the "humanity of the characters.
The added value of localization is to weave and express words that are suitable for Japanese culture and that resonate with Japanese people without destroying these three elements.
We would like to work with people who share these ideas and create the best possible product for our audience.
We will continue to localize Western games, but now that we have become a leading company in the industry, we need to take on new challenges to achieve further growth.
First, we plan to expand our consumer devices to include PCs, smartphones, and tablet PCs. Then, we aim to build a business network that can realize a "one-stop global simultaneous release service" for game titles in cooperation with Pole-to-Win Pit Crew Holdings (commonly known as PPHD) group companies.
For example, we believe that establishing a cooperative system with Pole To Win UK (UK local subsidiary), which can handle multilingual localization, will dramatically shorten the time required. Furthermore, we would like to take on the challenge of localizing video content other than games.
We do not develop the games themselves, but stand behind the game makers to localize them. In other words, we "help" them make their stories more moving by replacing the already existing games with appropriate Japanese.
To do this, we believe our services need to be sharpened. Therefore, we want to live up to our mission of "delivering excitement" by creating the best working environment possible. With this in mind, we are very particular about the environment we create. However, we also need to be playful in our creative activities, so we try to create a relaxing atmosphere in our offices and studios.
