総合電線メーカー世界第二位のフランスNexans社（ネクサンス）と大手日本会社との合弁で2006年に日本法人を設立しました。主力製品は高電圧電力（地下用・海底用）ケーブルの製造、特に海底ケーブルをメインとしています。

特徴・事業戦略

同社で製造しているケーブルは、離島や遠隔地に送電するために不可欠な大容量・高電圧ケーブルです。500KVに耐えうるケーブルを製造できるのは同社を含め世界で4社のみ。また、海外からの駐在員がいるためフランス・ノルウェー・ドイツ等、ヨーロッパ系の方が多いグローバルな企業です。

Nexans in Japan: Overview

Within Nexans group, Japan is one of the countries in our North East Asia region besides Greater China (mainland; Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR and Taiwan). Nexans has been active in Japan market mainly in marine and Oil and Gas industries where the Japanese EPC are working for projects all over the world.

To meet with the strictest compliances to national and international standards, Nexans is able to offer product packages among the group's factories to Japanese customers for telecommunications, power cables and accessories for industrial, building or infrastructural markets. Today, our joint venture factory located in Tokyo Bay offers us a manufacturing platform to serve the worldwide market from Japan.
